RICHARD DISMUKES, L.P.C., M.S. - Cofounder

Richard Dismukes received his B.S. in Psychology and Philosophy from Auburn University and his M.S. in Counseling and Human Development from Troy State University. He is the president and founding partner of Child and Family Service, a private clinical practice started in 1992 and rebranded in 2022 as Milestones Psychology & Therapy (MPT), which has expanded into a company managed by six partners. He enjoys hobbies, including sailing, travel, music, woodwork, and photography.

STACY PATEL, M.A.E. - Cofounder

Stacy Patel received her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 1998 and her M.A. in Educational Leadership from UAB in 2002, focusing on Group Counseling. She is the American Medical Association Alliance (AMA Alliance) Director-Events Council and a co-founder of The Headway Project. Her hobbies include triathlons, marathons, knitting, reading, music, service work, and creating new programs to help improve her community.

FRED GEORGE, Ph.D.

Fred George, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist of 53 years. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas in Austin in 1971. In addition to his duties of psychological assessments and psychotherapy, he was involved in the early development of the Drug and Alcohol Program. He ran the Army Fear of Flying Program. He provides evaluation and feedback for children, adolescents, and adults with ADHD and their associated difficulties.
